Lower Emerald Pools
We have been perpetual nomads since 2003 – sailing, camping, RVing, house and pet sitting – and are currently roaming about South America in a truck camper with our rescue dog, Maya. As lifetime adventurers, we are self-employed and maintain a tight budget. This blog is about all that – and more – to inspire a life less ordinary. Don’t dream but do! 🙂

Gorgeous! I have great memories of camping in Capitol Reef and hiking and trail rides in Bryce when our son was about 4 (now 31). Also loved Zion and Arches, Escalante Falls. so many gorgeous spots!

These parks are just incredible for the whole family, Laurie. So nice you explored them with your son. I wonder whether he remembers any of it. He was very young!
Speaking of camping in Capitol Reef, we actually stopped at that campground, because we saw the same van as ours. It was owned by Germans who had shipped it across the ocean to travel around North America. It was nice to meet fellow Westy owners. 🙂
